Getting Big!

Look at this little cutie pie! I am so in love with her. She is so squishy and sweet! She never cries and always has a huge grin for me! It is hard to catch her without her hands in her mouth anymore. The first year goes by so quickly! They change so fast!

We sure love our little Claire, but this kid sure could have used a brother!!!

Why Dance is the BEST medium!

I absolutely LOVE dance! I think that it is hands down the most powerful medium for self expression. When you combine the power of movement with the power of music there are no boundaries. Words could not describe the emotions that this dance conveys. I will never forget the faces of the many people that I saw during all of the time that I spent at MD Anderson cancer center last year. I feel so blessed that my little Rachel is happy, healthy, and not only walking but running and jumping and dancing! Life is beautiful and it is a privilege to live it! I cried when I watched this dance - amazing!!
For those of you who do not watch the show "So You think you can Dance" this piece is about a woman with breast cancer and her friend that is there supporting her through her journey.

Aunt Jo, I am thinking of you and love you! I can think of few people who have more energy for life than you do! You will beat this.

My own cancer survivor!!!!

My Audrey is Seven! (2 months late - her birthday is May 16th)

She wanted a castle cake for her Birthday so this is what we came up with.

She got "big girl presents" this year - a pink ipod!

I asked Audrey what she wanted to do this year and she decided she wanted a family party. We all went to the aquarium to celebrate!



Audrey was so happy to be with her extended family! She absolutely loves it!

We had so much fun!
They did salsa dancing at the Aquarium. Audrey was all over it! She LOVES to dance! She and Rachel danced for an entire hour!! They even cleared the floor for them at the end.
