Chauntel sent us three adorable ties for Adam! This is the first time he has ever worn a tie to church. I love it! This first picture he is Peter Proper and then in the next he is our little mac daddy! He's so fun!

Spider Man Party! James' B-day!

I always let the girls pick out the theme for Daddy's Birthday. It was Spider man this year! James is so easily satisfied. He always wants a low key birthday at home with dinner and cake.

10 Years ago...

I was 16 years old! I was in high school and lovin life! I was on the dance company, had the greatest friends, enjoying the freedom of driving and having my own car and dating Robbie Woods. (as some of you may remember!!) Sometimes I wish that I could go back in time and go to high school for one day just so that I could really appreciate it! I think it is funny that kids can't wait to get out of high school but when you look back it was one of the best times!! Every day was about me!

5 things on my list to do today....

1. Turn in my files to my office. (Real Estate)
2. Choose a home warranty company. (For the house we are buying)
3. Pack
4. Do laundry
5. Watch American Idol!

Snacks I enjoy.....
My latest favorite is vanilla ice cream with chocolate, carmel, and nuts! I also love the clementine oranges!

What I would do if I were suddenly a millionaire.....

Pay off my house and all of our other investments! Go on an amazing vacation with my husband and then another one with my kids. Buy a whole new wardrobe!! Buy a new car. Set up accounts for my kids for college and weddings. Save the rest for retirement! (I have never thought about it)wink wink

3 bad habits......

1. emotional eating! I never knew that I had a problem with it until recently! Stress = CHOCOLATE!
2. Watching TV every night before bed.
3. Telling myself, "I'll start tomorrow." All it does is give me an excuse to let it slide today!

5 things people don't know about me.......


1. I get in a really bad mood when my house is dirty. (Okay so you already knew that!)
2. I can't go to sleep at night unless I check on all of my kids, make sure they are all breathing and covered up properly. I have tried to go to bed without doing it and I can't!
3. I love to write.
4. I'm afraid of being under water.
5. I get major anxiety attacks! They come and go at different times in my life but they can be really bad.

Horray!!!!

This cartoon says it all about how I feel about the housing market right now! Nonetheless, we must have done something right!
It's moving day again at the Carters!!!! We just accepted an offer on our home and placed another offer on a new home tonight! I am so excited. We got not only one offer, but two offers! We accepted one as a backup contract in case the other one falls through. I feel extremely blessed! Everything has really fallen into place with us finding a home and getting two offers! We are feeling great about the new house. It is in Tomball (north of Houston) so we will be close to my parents when they move to Magnolia! I went to the ward this Sunday and I loved it! There are a ton of kids and young families. We will be on a cul-de-sac again! I have really missed that. Poor Audrey is going to have to change schools but she is such a trooper. She already told me that she likes to make new friends. I have the greatest kids! I'm exhausted! It has been quite a roller coaster ride but we have finally gotten a great price for our home. I have learned so much and feel very blessed that things are working out. I just hope that everything goes through. I will not feel completely confident until all of the papers are signed on both houses on the 29th!

Sweet and Sour Rachel

Thank you all for your comments about school! It helps that I am not alone! We had a great week. We did homework every day and Audrey is really improving. We played Handels "Water Music" during homework and that really seems to help her concentrate. My Dad always said that classical music is proven to help with math. I thought these pictures of Rachel were cute. They were taken by Audrey so we got facial expressions that are meant for her sister! Hope you are all doing great!
