Uncle!

The last two weeks have brought parasites, ear infections, strep throat, and the stomach flu!

Uncle, I say uncle!

I feel like this wilting bouquet of once beutiful, thriving, flowers, bursting with color and smelling of sweetness: now just a shadow of what they once were, falling apart into pieces on my table and beginning to stink!

I also feel a little like this poor dead horsie on the girls bed (doesn't it look dead)?

. . . and the horsie's twin that has been burried by dirty clothes in the corner. (I definately feel like this one)

I am going crazy!!

I can't believe that we are back to this . . .

and this . . .

and this . . .

and this . . .

and still dealing with this . . .
(don't you think it's ironic that her throw up bucket says "party time")

(She just curled up like this on the floor)
Just two short weeks ago my house was clean EVERY DAY for 21 DAYS!!!
No more.
No more.

On another note: Don't you think this is cute??

(Mr. Clean because he ALWAYS has to have his face and hands clean)

Do you think it is bad for her to do this?

And here's to my Audrey, the only one who has remained Healthy! (the little stinker!)

Mom's Eye View

I'm on ground level . . . kids are planning their attack!
Here's the wind up! Shmack!

Adam in my face . . . (to his sheer delight)

Adam still in my face . . .

Now he's REALLY in my face . . .

Now he's in trouble and pouting for being too aggressive. (You give 'em in inch . . .)

Really showing me how crushed he is that he can't use me as his personal trampoline.

Off to the Bath

Lovin' it!

Ready to get out!

Adam gets out a new game to play with.

Nap time for Baby.

Hanging on to the last few moments of rocking and feeding my sweet baby girl. These moments are fleeting and may not come again.

Sweet skin in the sunlight.

Sweet, Squishy baby.

Night Night!
Shirt won't come off! No matter how many times this happens it's still funny Every. Single. Time.

Adam's new embarrassed look - my favorite!
Off for an after hours doctor run for a VERY sore bum and a SURPRISE ear infection. An emergency grocery run and voila - homemade Diaper Cream (VERY EFFECTIVE)

Little helper at 11:00 p.m.

And off to bed. ZZzzzzzz . . .

Somebody had a Birthday!

My beautiful little Rachel turned 6 on March the 26th. Rachel had only been anticipating the day for about 6 months! I hope that it was everything that she expected. She is such a bright spot in my life. She is my daily reminder that I am blessed and that miracles happen. She teaches me gratitide and humility. She is one of the most witty 6 year olds that I have ever met! The other day she was asked not to do something. As she was doing it anyway I said, "Rachel, I can still see you . . . " to this she replied, "Then don't look at me." She said this very innocently and more matter of factly. I had to laugh under my breath. She is my little artist, very visual and always learning by doing things with her hands. She is very tender and sweet. She is a good little Mommy to her Brother and Sisters but as there has to be opposition in all things she can be a little firecracker when she wants or needs to be! I love this girl!!! Happy Birthday!

We started the out the day with Ear Piercing!! Mommy, Grammy, Brittany, and Audrey were all in attendance. Rachel hardly flinched as Audrey hid around the corner and wouldn't watch.

The proud Sister!

We followed it up with a Birthday lunch at Chick-Fil-A at the food court.
(Girls were playing hooky from school).

That evening we had a Birthday bash with LOTS and LOTS of Girls!
Here are the Party Girls in their PJ's!

Coloring their wooden dolls

Blowing out candles on her "Blue Cake" as she used to call it when she was two.

Proud Mommy and Daddy

The Spoilage

If there is ONE thing that Rachel loves it's CHOCOLATE!!
