And then there were two . . .

At least twice a day Claire looks up at me and says, "Mom, where's the gils?" The girls are at school, I say and then she happily goes back to whatever she is doing.  Things are different.  The girls are in school, and my husband is away on business.  Life has changed for our little family since James started his new venture.  Things are different but things are good.  There is nothing like a good challenge to force you to grow in ways that you wouldn't otherwise.  We spend more than half the week without Daddy.  He is in Austin working hard.  I am very proud of him for what he is doing.  We manage okay without him but we are better when he is here.  I have come to appreciate what he brings to our family, positivity, structure, energy, and life.  We miss that.  But, there are many happy moments and lots of love.
