Summer Vacation - Colorado - "The Nansion"

All year long, we look forward to our summer vacation.  We commence with our great pilgrimage west.  We had a particularly nasty stay in Lubbock Texas this year.  After a LONG drive, we finally arrived in Durango Colorado where we stopped to load up on groceries for the cabin. 

This was the back of our van after our grocery trip.  I even put one of the seats down!

It was rainy and windy and very steep.  But beautiful as always.

This is Claire in our bed the next morning.  It was so nice to sleep in a big comfy bed after traveling for several days.  Claire called the cabin "The Nansion" because it was so big and beautiful.  It had huge picture windows with amazing views.  We loved it!

 

The Cabin was beautiful and we had so much fun being together as a family!  It had been nearly two years since we have all been together.
