The Many Faces of Bubud!

Adam has been such a different experience for me as a Mom. I know how to do girls. I have three and I am one. Boys, on the other hand are foreign creatures to me. He's physical, not verbal. He plays like a puppy would; getting in your face and nudging you with his head, knocking you about and even drooling periodically. He grunts like a caveman to tell you what he wants. He doesn't like bandaids! He constantly eats. He love meat. He DOESN'T want his diaper changed, DOESN'T mind being dirty, and DOESN'T cry when he gets hurt. He throws things at you as an invitation for play, not as an act of frustration. Even with all of his irritating antics, he melts my heart and makes me feel pure joy!

  3. I can relate!! boys are so interesting and raising one often keeps me on my toes and in stitches laughing because they can be SO different at times. Then I realize they actually can grow up and become pretty cool husbands. It's amazing that it is even possible! LOL!

And the "Nia" experience, what the??? That would have been so funny to watch sitting right next to you laughing our heads off! So when are you going back to the class?

  6. I was just thinking while I was looking at those pictures, Adam looks so much like his daddy! Boys are different, which means they also aren't so sensitive and emotional, so there are advantages! :)
