In Kindergarten the kids get to take home this lovely germ filled stuffed animal for the weekend! They take turns and then the parents are supposed to take a bunch of pictures and tell all about their child. I think it is a cute idea but the bear kind of grossed me out and I got really tired of carrying him around all weekend and trying to remember to take pictures. I spent an hour last night scrapbooking about 8 pages (required) for the teacher. Anyway, I thought these pictures of Audrey were cute. She is growing up fast.
That's hilarious and, I agree, gross. Your kids are so cute! I hope all is well!
ReplyDeleteHow is Audrey liking kindergarten, how are YOU liking kindergarten? I have mixed feelings about it. Can you believe we're old enough to have kids in school!
ReplyDeleteThat would gross me out too...but I bet Audrey just loved that it was her turn to have Beary!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your updates. Your kids are beautiful. I can't believe you have a kindergartener. Alisa was in kindergarten when we lived on Sara Circle. It feels like yesterday. I heard your parents are moving to Housten. Lucky You! Lucky Them! I hope we can all get together soon.
ReplyDeleteMiss you, love you,
Aunt Cari
Hi Niki! This is Ashley Allred (Burr) How are you? I found you on Sarah Wilde's blog and I am so excited. Don't think I am a stalker. Your little-I mean big- kids are darling and I miss your whole family like crazy. I am totally not a germ freak at all, but that is truly gross to send a stuffed bear home to thirty something different houses.
ReplyDeleteAudrey looks so grown-up! She's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful girl! Beary.... are ya sure??? That truly is quite disgusting. I think I would have thrown old Beary in the wash! I love your new couches. They are very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour kids are so beautiful!! It is so wierd that you have a kindergartener, you seem way too young!
