Baby You're a Firework!

After last years firework fiasco, I was not sure if Rachel would want to go to the Stadium of Fire.  It took some thought but she decided that she didn't want to miss it.  This was the first year that James has ever gone with us!  The Stadium of Fire is arguably one of my best childhood memories.  I was excited to share it with him.  He missed his flight that morning and barely caught a standby flight that made it on time for the show.  We had an absolute blast!

The fireworks show started off with Katy Perry's Firework!  I will never be able to listen to that song without thinking about that night.  I told James that the firework show would be the best he has ever seen.  He wasn't so sure that it could beat the kinds of displays he had seen in Houston but he later commented that he had never seen anything like it in his life.  It is pretty remarkable!

Thank you Dad for working your tail off to get us these tickets!!  You are the best!
