The Utah Open House that Almost Wasn't

Since Marlee and Tyler won a dream wedding in St. George Utah, and Marlee is from California, that meant two receptions, one in St. George, and one in California.  This meant that there was not going to be an event to celebrate with all of our friends and family in Orem where Tyler grew up.  The men in the family were just fine with this reality, feeling that it would be over-kill to do anything more.  Mom, however, stuck to her guns and we ended up with this beautiful open house that almost wasn't.  Mom and I spent the better part of July planning for this event.  I had so much fun participating in the process.  It rained off and on throughout the day but we got lucky and had absolutely perfect weather!  Everything turned out beautifully . . .

These desserts were AMAZING!
