Uncle Sam

The fourth of July is my favorite Holiday next to Christmas!  Maybe it is because it is so close to my birthday, maybe it's because there is absolutely perfect weather in July or maybe it's because Utah really knows how to celebrate this Country's birthday.  Traditionally, we wake up to the Patriotic sounds of big band music.  My Dad blasts it through the speakers bright and early so that we can wake up to see the hot air balloon launch.  The launch was cancelled this year because of rain but that did not stop us from getting out to see the parade!  I love the parade in downtown Provo, it's not too big or overcrowded but big enough to match the excitement of the day.
